Jill Emerton is the CEO of Nosara Clinical Consulting, LLC, a clinical research organization (CRO) firm founded in 2014 and headquartered in Dallas, Texas. With a strong scientific background and more than two decades of experience in clinical research, Jill brings leadership and vision to one of the most relied upon CROs in the world. She has served as a clinical research associate, CRA manager, senior project manager, and operational director of multiple phase I-IV studies in both drug and device trials across the globe.
In her capacity as CEO of Nosara Clinical Consulting, Jill leads with a mix of experience and skills bringing together innovative ideas, development of actual projects, and execution of solid clinical research studies. Under her guidance, Nosara Clinical Consulting bridges cultural barriers and cultivates lasting partnerships with emerging markets and novice therapies.
The result has created a multicultural, multi-lingual team with a both a global and regional reach. This team is comprised of experienced clinicians, including a critical care RN with a doctorate in adult education to augment training programs and a PA with extensive experience in ophthalmology, urology, and dermatology.
Jill’s proactive and engaged approach to research has gained an internationally recognized level of excellence for Nosara, which has benefited millions of patients and improved quality of life worldwide.

Nosara Clinical Consulting is named after the sleepy surf town of Nosara, located on Costa Rica's Nicoya Peninsula. The area is one of only five Blue Zones in the world. A Blue Zone is a global region that boasts the highest longevity, where people enjoy an extraordinarily long, healthy lifespan. Residents of these five locations often live to be over 100 years of age. As such, Blue Zones are considered to be the healthiest geographic zones in the world.
